Brady Chappell (L) and
Norman Tuplin at the 40th Annual Beechy Western Days Indoor Rodeo. Brady and his partner,
Larry Chappell, (both of Moose Jaw) placed 4th in the long go and 1st in the finals to win the
team roping with a combined total of 14.4 seconds on two head. Norman Tuplin, a long-time member
of the local committee, donated the High Point Saddle in memory of his father, Eric Tuplin. Brady
qualified for the win by entering team roping and tie down roping.

Royce Perrin (Kindersley)
received the Brian Claypool Memorial Buckle as champion bull rider at the 40th Annual Beechy
Western Days Indoor Rodeo. Royce scored 86 on Tickity Boo during the Saturday performance and
won the long go round. His score of 78 on Double Shot in the finals put him in 2nd place, and
winner of the average, to keep him in the running for the prestigious award. June Rush made the
presentation on behalf of Ellen Claypool-Marquis and her family.
